I gotta admit, I hope the river is up next spring, too. I need at least 14ft of river at washington (it's around 2ft now) to get the mullberry trees in the water. falling mullberries into flooded water = some fine fishing for anything that swims....
but for this winter, I like it when the river is around 2ft, it really concentrates the cats into a handful of the deepest holes. but it sounds like the river is gonna be lower than that this winter, ptobably so low that we won't be able to use the ramps... my wife will be liking that!!![]()
had time to hit the ol river today, put in at newhaven... no winter blues bite just yet, but I did catch a couple of channel cats....
