That is the caliber I am hoping to get from Santa this year. Looked at and held a lot of different ones but the Kimber keeps ending up back at the top of the list. Waiting to shoot the new model from Ruger before I decide.

Jigging 15, it will be very hard to beat a kimber. They are 1 of the best out there. Imo, besides being reliable, they make the best looking 1911,s.

I get an email news letter from natchezss.com , with some good deals on ammo. My sons bought enough 9mm brass cased ammo with shipping it 9.65 per box during the summer.

A 1911 is what I am after. So many to chose from anymore. Ruger is coming out with a 22/45acp conversion. Change out the upper and go back and forth. Looking for a bigger carry handgun for winter time. I carry a Ruger LCP 380 most of the year because it is easily concealed. But in winter a larger frame handgun is not an issue to conceal.

Ammunition to go.com is what the gun nut that works here says. (not a joke)

Bob if u know any one that works at lake city they get the cheapest ammo I have ever seen! I bought some cases of shotgun shells from a buddy that works there for like 85$ a case and at the stores they were selling for 180$ a case for same brand, size shell! Only bad thing is your not garunteed your full order once u put it in!

X-2 on cheaperthandirt.com And Jared you wont find anything better than the Kimber.
