I love having a fall garden. The last week of July I planted green beans and 2 weeks later I planted some cucumbers. Just canned 13 jars of beans and 14 of pickles. 1/2 sweet pickles and 1/2 dill pickles. Don't need more pickles but will keep canning beans. You still have to water but it loves the cooler weather. Much easier picking stuff when it is cooler also. The produce is so much crispier. Everything has a nice crunch to it. And not from being dry.lol
