    Default Bowhunters ?

Who is going out this weekend ? Should be a nice cool weekend for deer hunting ! Good luck to everyone who ventures out ! I normally don't get too fired up about early season , but I got a couple of daytime pics . Of a couple nice bucks on my trail cam near one of my tree stands last week .

I use to live for bow season!!! Haven't drawn my bow for three years now. I guess I'm just not as mad at em as I use to be!! Good luck all. It's a great time of year to be in the woods!!

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I'm pretty much hunting in the backyard this weekend looking for a 10 or 12 and a doe if possible, to work on filling the freezer. I've also seen one of the big guys out early in the evening the other day.
Good luck to you also, and the weather does look pretty good with the lower nighttime temperatures.

I can't wait!!! I don't have any deer picked out, but I never do. my early season strategy is to put the climber on my back and the wind to my face, and start walking until I find some fresh sign, and then set up there. I usually see some action this way, this time of year.
hows the acorns looking around the state?? here there are some whites but they are really small. haven't seen any others. sure am glad I got good rain on myfood plots last week!

Gonna go shoot teal instead. Last weekend was pretty good so keep after them till they're gone.
