Fished a tounament at Pomme several years back. Everyone was pullin their rigs out without hookin winch strap on. Thought I would try it with the Express. Mistake-halfway up the ramp I could feel her sliding. Co angler in my truck saw me waving my arms and stopped quick enough that I only slipped bout a foot. I never, never, never pull up or down a ramp without winch strap hooked up and motor trimmed up. Seen a lot of skegs ground off on the boat ramps also.

First boat was light and slippy, had it slip one time about a foot or so when fishing buddy tapped the brakes when straightening out... Never unhooked again or failed to hook when recovering.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
