    Default Need advice for Table Rock trip


    Hey there MO peeps!

    Looking for some advice on a surprise trip I am trying to plan for the family (wife, son-15yo, me). I am looking for a place to stay at TR that meets these criteria as close as possible:

    >Cabin (or similar) close to water (will need a place that will accommodate boat trailer - see below)
    >Slip/Dock that will accommodate our 22' pontoon (close to us)
    >Obligatory day trip to Silver Dollar City easy as possible (willing to give here)
    >Would be nice to stay under $150/night

    I've been searching the net and, man, there are tons of places out there on TR - sorta overwhelmed which is why I'm turning to the trusty CDC folks. Never been to TR and would really like to put something together. Looking at mid September for dates (love last minute trips!). Have any ideas?

    When we were tourists here, our best vacation was renting a houseboat and towing our fishing boats behind it. There are plenty of places to park the house boat nose first against the bank and have 40 foot water to slide into from the boat.

    There are several places in the Branson West/ Kimbering City area that you can park your boat right outside the door and plug it in. There are also places down Indian Point where you can rent a small cabin and dock your boat. You might also look into Big Cedar Lodge.

    Thanks for the reply FAADAN! Yep, I'm finding a bunch of places. Some have pretty decent websites and descriptions of amenities and some do not. I guess I'm looking for some rather specific suggestions. Thanks again!
