    Default Hatfield's & McCoy's


    Has anybody been watching it? Missed the first part sunday night but caught it and the second part last night. The third part is tonight. It is on the History channel. always heard about the Hatfield's & McCoy's but never knew the story behind the feud. Now I know.

    From what I understand ... the "tv movie" took some serious liberties with the "truth" about the whole thing. The book about it is more accurate. (& the real McCoys & Hatfields weren't anywhere close to the "good looks" of the TV actors ) Rofl

    They were a violent bunch for sure. I wonder if they really drank that much liquor or not, they were sure drinking a lot in the show.

    I have them all set to record and watched the first part last night. Was not to bad. The wife even liked it. Will try and catch part two tonight after daughters T ball game.

    Its been pretty good so far.They were some roudy folks for sure.
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Watched Part 1 last night, parts 2 and 3 tonight. If I can stand it. I wasn't impressed. Like CP said, I'm guessing it's a far cry from reality. Like most "History" Channel shows! Used to be a legitimate station. Plus, Kevin Costner can't do a show in less than 3 hours anymore!
