AAA Insurance is ran by idiots.

5/12 hail damage
Called AAA, adjuster came out a few days later.
Adjuster called the next day, "Oh yea, it's totalled." Gives me the numbers and says you will get the estimate in a day or two and the check within a week or so.
Couple weeks.. no check.
Call claims... adjusters stuff has not even been assigned to an underwriter for approval. I tear into them, they say they will get it done ASAP. They call back and say it is approved and will be mailed...

A week and no check. Call back... approved but not mailed. WHAT!!

I call my agent, "All those referrals just dried up and you can kiss my behind goodbye when this is done." Give her the low down.

Agent calls back (this is her actual words) "The check was mailed on the 25th and takes 7-10 business days." "Actually, Yvonne, the girl you talked to at claims earlier, was printing the check when I called and..... "

I jumped in... IS THERE ANYONE WITH ANY BRAINS AT AAA? YOU JUST SAID IT WAS MAILED ON THE 25TH... THEN YVONNE IS PRINTING IT.... WHY IS SHE PRINTING IT IF IT WAS MAILED? KISS MY BUTT GOODBYE JEANNE, OKAY!!

Stay clear of AAA for anything other than an auto club.

Two words for you STATE FARM! Been with them for several years but then again its like anything else your insurance is only as good as your agent.

I tell ya what I think everybody in that business is a bunch of mouth breathing idiots. Oh wait isn't there a local company around here called Gordon Brown Insurance?

I'm a roofer (in Olathe Ks) and yes AAA Insurance is idiots to deal with. I recomend American Family Insurance over all the others, just my opinion, good luck. If you need any help please let me know.

We were with AmFam and probably will go back after this. Everything we've needed to interact with AAA has been a complicated mess. Lisa tried to get our umbrella liability policy paid over the phone... took six calls over the month. Should have just wrote a check.
