Most Fords, Chevy's and Dodges are alike each has their bad and good sides. I drive a Ford, my wife drives a Ford, my parents drive Fords, my father inlaw when he could drive drove a Chevy.

I won't buy anything but a Ford myself! Granted I like the Blue Oval! But the quaility of service that I have gotten out of my Ford Dealership is the main reason I drive a Ford! I purchased my first new pickup in 1997 and I have had 2 new trucks since that time. The last in 2004 and that truck has over 200,000 miles on it today. And it has only ever been serviced at the orginal dealership. The only reason I purchased a Ford back in 1997 is because Bill Roberts of Bill Roberts Chevy in Bolivar, MO was a good church going buddy of my then father inlaw and he tried putting the screws to me. I decided that I would just go buy a Ford to get even! Granted my dad always has driven a Ford due to retiring from the plant in KC. But I didn't get brand loyal until I purchased that truck in 1997 from Bill & Kelly Grant! Their service department is what keeps me coming back!

JackB is a service manager for a Ford Dealership up around KC somewhere. He is a wonderful guy and if my dealership ever goes out of business I will deal with him.

I buy my trucks at Bill Grant Ford in Bolivar, MO. Kelly Grant has taken care of me from day one! And his service department has been great to my wife and me both. Granted the service guys have really been great to my wife, especially with me being gone anywhere from 300 to 750 miles from home 8 to 9 months out of the year. They do not try to take advange of her because she is a woman and I am out of town.

So before you decide on a brand maybe I might be calling the BBB and checking out the dealerships first. I know there used to be some real jerks in KCMO in the car business years ago. Granted that was over 30 plus years ago and they are out of business now from what I have heard.

I agree with DMW1960 find a dealer that will take care of you, there are problems with all makes. I've owned everyone of the models mentioned and sooner are later something happens. As far as milage you can always invest in a programmer, I've bought one for a Dodge Diesel and Increased my milage by 3 miles ( towing a boat ) Now I have a Yukon 4x4 5.3 ltr and put one on it and Increased by 2.5 miles a gal ( on regular ) towing my boat. Dealer Dealer Dealer!

Research the 2013 dodge, I also have owned every make and at times there is always one performing better than others and vice versa. Do your research and don't let emotions get the best of ya.
