When we get closer I will get a list of needed items for potluck meals through the week and for the fish fry. Also will get a list of who is staying where and when they will be arriving.

Camp will be the week of May 5th on Truman lake at Bucksaw. Some camp at the COE campgrounds, some stay at the Bucksaw resort in their cabins or hotel type rooms and some stay in Clinton. I will try to get some info with links posted for peole to make reservations. We normally end up with about all of the A-loop in the COE campground with the main site being A-44. Which we use for meals and a central gathering place and nightly campfire. Clinton is about 16 miles from the campground and marina. It has everything from Wal Mart to grocery stores to Everharts sporting goods and fast food. Tightwad which is just a few miles south east on 7 hwy has a C store and large bait and tackle store all in one. They are also great to deal with. Beer ice general camping supplies and lots of tackle. Hope the links and maps help a little. If anyone has any questions just let me know on this thread or shoot me a PM.

Blown up view of the campground. A-32 through A-50 are the ones we always have and then anything close by. The closer to A-44 the louder and later the partying and noise will be. So if you like it quite may get a little further away or if you want the full effect of camp get in close to the action near A-44.

Anyone got a site reserved yet? Going to try and get mine picked out this week. Maybe A-45 again.
Probably going to get a room, I dont have a camper, and tents just are not as practical as they use to be.
We have several that stay at the cabins and the hotel/lodge at Bucksaw and some that even stay in Clinton. If you like the adult refreshments like a lot of us do I would suggest staying at Bucksaw resort in a cabin or room. They also has kitchenettes right on the water and should have the room above the marina done by then. I think it will sleep 8-10 an would be a great way to save money by splitting it.
Ya the rooms at the lodge are close by also. The kitchenettes are pretty cool. You have a boat slip right outside the door. Just have to be careful if you like to go outside to pee at night.
Looking forward to this. Kayaking, will bring a spare, might be interested in spliting a cabin/room with another non-smoker.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
"OTD" and I have booked our rooms for spring camp. staying @ the Hampton inn in Clinton until Friday then two nights @ the lodge@ Bucksaw(Friday & Saturday). Look forward to seeing our Mo friends at camp. Will herd some"spotted cows" down that way.
