Took a couple of hours off yesterday afternoon and headed to PB........it was just waaaayyyyyyyy too nice to be at work. Worked some of the coves within a couple of miles of the launch and found several way back in the backs of some of the coves. Nothing at the mouths or along the banks until you got to the very back of the coves, in the real shallow stuff. Brought home a nice limit, and prolly released another 15-20, in a couple of hours. Water temp was about 67 +/- where I found them. Mostly males.........only 2 had eggs of the 15 that I cleaned......eggs still fairly sold, not too bloody or runny yet.
Good fishing all.

I had been wondering how that area was? Good report glad you found them thanks. Was the water really full of stuff from truman releasing?
I think we all are getting that feeling that we should take off work and head out fishing. Nice job on locating and catching the fish.
yeah think i'll take off mowin and gardenin to go fish next week grb22 topic is not imp[ortant just the fishin is wtg
Yea, it was pretty murkey..........I thought it was due to the heavy rains over the past week or so, didn't realize that Truman was releasing a lot. We were down on the glalze last weekend and it was flat muddy then, it had cleared up some by Wednesday but still off color. I am curious what yesterdays rain did to it........should be good this weekend, though.

Counted 32 boats this morning from Lebanon to Fort Leonard wood, and that was just a 30 min drive, no telling how many in total were out today.
