I hear what you're saying nvrgvup, I just don't think I could turn the other cheek in that instance. I am a proud Vet, and the very freedom they exercise was paid for by the many deaths given to protect it!
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

There is a time to stand up for what is right and protesting the death of someone who protects our country is for sure wrong.

Mr. JTMavs: It was hard for me to turn the other cheek also. Very, very, very hard to turn the other cheek when hatred filled my heart.

My grandfather fought in the Pacific campaign and still cries when talking about it, thus he won't talk much about what he went through.

Thanks for your service = thanks for our freedom. Much appreciated!

nvrgvup, you are doing your part too. Maybe your work will prevent some of the future of groups like this. Keep up the good fight man! No question you grandfather is a MAN and we should thank him and all who served with, before and after. It's groups like wbbc that trash it, but hide behind it.

These people are not representatives of Jesus Christ.
These idiots give those of us who are Christians a bad name and fuel the fire for those who hate our relationship to the one that made us.
If we weren't called to love these idiots as well, I'd pray for a tornado to pass through their church on Sunday morning.

Don't know if they protested or not. Didn't see any coverage of it on tv if they did. Maybe the news people ignored them so they wouldn't get any press.

There was a fallen soldier's funeral in Mississippi last year. The wbbc bunch showed up to protest. Funny thing happened. At the hotels the morning of the funeral, any vehicle with KS license plates were mysteriously blocked in. The police were called but couldn't respond right then because it was low priority. Seems that every tow company in town was tied up all day as well. Only one protester made it to the funeral and he didn't stay long.
