    Holy guacamole! I bet that was a blast! I've never caught one, but would love to try for them sometime .. what did that weigh?

    He was 30 something pounds. They get bigger than that as well on that lake.

    I'm definitely going to have try that sometime. I'll probably have to upgrade on my line though .. aw heck, forget the line, I'll probably need to buy a whole new rod/reel setup! I'm sure it would be worth it though. Glad to see you're out on the water and I hope it is bringing you a little peace.

    All I want to know is how would you cook it? I have a uncle that swears he likes to go over above the dam at Truman and fish for something like them. I am sorry but I have always been kind of weird. That should wake some of you jokers up! If it ain't CRAPPIE it just aint fishing. I got turned off of Bass fishing at a young age on Truman and that was back before Truman was Truman. Back when it was just a river grand dad, and dad took me fishing they got me into some bass fishing from the bank. Took them back to the house and cleaned them and they had a bunch of worms in their backs. We ended up throwing them away and I ain't considered bass nothing more than junk since. Kind of like carp and buffalo.
