Default deer still on the Rub

sitting in the truck yesterday evening, watching the corn field for coyotes, catch something out of the corner of my eye.

Big Buck, Real Big 10 points, he was moving along and decided to rub on a tree. (sapling) right by the fence. he had no velvet guess he was just showing off, I tried to get the camera arround, but he was way to alert for an old fat man to turn arround and snap a picture, man that was cool, sure glad he made it through the deer season. or else he escaped from the pen next to me,,,, See, someone or more than one person stole a truck and ran through the fence on the Deer Ranch and a lot of high dollar deer got out, these yahoos tore a lot of fence up then burnt the truck, stole another one, burnt it, stole another one and left it ,,, Lawrence county has two in custody, and looking for couple others,, they were with in 2 miles of me. sure glad they left my ole farm truck alone, I afraid it would not have got them far..

Little flat creek lodge was the ranch that they did this to... just a little story.

I love seeing those big bucks in the field. I'm surprised he hasn't dropped his antlers yet. Won't be long I bet.

Beagle: It might just be a weird year. I found a new scrape next to one of my stands. It wasn't there all season???? I will have to check with my buddy to see if he is taking viagra and see if he flushes the old stuff, seeps out of the septic, and makes the deer a little tweaked.

That sucks about the deer farm getting broken into. I heard deer and deer velvet can go for a lot of $$.

My pops always told me that "You get what get and don't throw a fit." I am glad the guy got beat on a little. He got off easy. I bet the criminals will sue the guy that hit him and get lots of money while the deer farm and the truck owner will get a higher bill from their insurance company
