Will have 6 of us guys from Illinois staying in the kitchenettes May 2nd - May 6th........I can't guarantee ANYTHING with this group, but if anyone was lucky enough to lock in the kitchenettes, we'll make sure to look you up and try not to fall in the wawa!

Hope we don't have to take shelter under the canopies again watching hunts on your laptop while it rains sideways. 75 guys under 3 10x10 canopies makes for close quarters.

I spent 22 years in Rock Island, IL. I felt like a fish out of water in that state. Loved the deer hunting tho. Hope to meet you guys.

Quincy, IL here BWill..... as close as I can get to Missouri and the family owns property in MO, but I continually feel your past pain. It's nice to know that I can be an adopted red-headed step-child of the MO boards though (atleast until you meet the rest of the group, then you might change your mind). This will be our 6th or 7th year of spending a week at Truman, prior to that it was 6 years in South Dakota but you just can't beat MO (in my opinion).

Hope to finally put some faces to names come spring time.

Amazingly our yearly trip fell on the same weekend as the camp did this year. I have 1 kitchenette reserved for the 3rd and three reserved for the 4th and 5th. Right now I have a total of 7 guys joining me on our little outing. We can sleep three in those rooms pretty comfortably. If we don't have all nine beds filled up by camp a couple of guys are more than welcome to crash with us if they need to. Pretty sure I am going to have to make it up to camp this year to see what it is all about. I hear they are a blast.

    DABE,

Any idea which of the sets of kitchenette's you have? I think we are in the new ones that were being built last year.....no direct front door boat access, but literally a walk out onto the docks and we are in our boat. Just curious if you were able to book in early.............if our two groups are together, I don't know if we'll make it up to Camp!

We've got 1 kitchenette reserved for April 28 - 30th for a pre-fish trip (dad and I always bring gramps) and then the big group (6) of us will be back down May 2 - 6th, all in kitchenettes on the water.

    For All,

I will add to DABE'S initial offer......... it appears we may have booked one full kitchenette more than we need for the May 2 - 6th....if that turns out to be the case and you'd like some awesome lodgings that are hard to come by for this weekend, shoot me a PM and when we get closer, we can hash everything out. Obviously first PM gets first dibs.......so on and so forth.

    U,

I'm not real sure which rooms we have yet. I didn't request any specific one. I will say it is pretty handy to step right out the front door and into your boat. I am looking at getting down there right around 2 or 2:30 that Thursday. It will be nice to actaully get to meet several of the members for once.
