    Default Trap Line Trio

This morning had my two boys and my niece go with me so it was quite an adventure. Lots of fun was had by all. We had 3 coon, 2 possums, 1 skunk. We have been setting almost all dog proof dukes and the kids love helping with the bait and setting the traps. Very cool thing for the young ones.

Thats a great story. Those kids look like they were having a blast as well. Look out the little guy looks like he is a real character! hahahaha Good job taking them with you and teaching them about the outdoors. We need to ensure the young enjoy the outdoors just as our fathers and grandads did with us.

Looks like a great time was had. Better watch that little one. He has got that crazy look in his eye. I think he wanted to hold the coon and the gun.

awsome! good for you for getting the young ones out of the house. I remember running box traps for rabbits when I was a kid with grampa and later on I had my own trap line. great memories! I doubt if 1 out of 10 kids these days have ever run a trap line or even know what one looks like.

You all hit the nail on the head. My oldest is 8 and takes after his mother, he likes to have fun but is a very serious young man. He works hard in school, baseball, or anything he is doing he is pretty much all business for the most part. Josh is 4 and is a big time people person. He has never met a stanger and seems to win people over quick. He is looking to have fun no matter what he is doing. I'm afraid his motto could be where is the party. LOL
