    Rameys,price cutter has kretschmar hams on sale, reason I said the afore mentioned stores they the ones in aurora,,,, other stores probably have them on sale also,,,,, go get you some,,,, I just got done slicing ours up , ready for the freezer..... after breakfast

    my wife got us one a 2 days or so ago,hey jason lets go down to beagles and eat his first and save ours a while

    See you saturday Michael. Looking forward to a nice day on the water and meeting some folks from the board.

    Back to the ham. My wife takes half a ham and puts it in a slow cooker with just about 1 inch of the ham sticking up. She surrounds it with peeled quarterd potatoes and thats it. No seasonings of any kind. Low and slow all day then serves with baby peas, wilted lettuce and a pan of cornbread and butter. I put a little butter and salt and pepper on the spuds when on the plate and eat till I can't get up from the table. LOL. I get at least two meals out of that mix then the rest goes for a pot of ham and beans at a later time.

    hey beagle why dont you throw that ham on the smoker maybe with some brisket and chicken, bring yourself a feast when you go fishin
