I think Slab prefers you post for sale items on the personal classified section if you have a price or phone number in your post. There were several threads on different forums by actual business' promoting their products while trying to bypass Slab's advertising policy. That's why he instituted this policy. You can still post an item for sale in the OT forum as long as it doesn't include a price or phone number. Just ask them to pm you for a price or phone number. Or you can post the item in the classifieds and post a link to it on the OT forum.
