I posted a message in a thread that was deleted (it wasn't my fault it was deleted), so I'm not sure if you had a chance to read it, but one of my main points was how neat it was to stop into Clinton on my way south and bump into you & stumpthumper. It was great to meet you guys, I enjoyed our conversation and for me, it really drove home what this site is all about.

Anyway, thanks for all of you do on this board and don't let some negative @$%@# get to you.

No problem at all. I believe everyone on here enjoys meeting other members. I have not met a member yet that I have not liked or would not share a day in the boat with. We have had our spats and differances on here for sure. But we have got through all of them and most of the time it has made us or the site better people and a better place. Everyone has an opinion and some of us need to take others opinions as that and not take offence to them. I still feel this a great site with lots of great people and great info. So hope our little spat did not run anyone off because they will be missing out on how great this site can be.

Sorry. Guess that was not worded to well. Hope to run into you again when coming through town. I have lots of days off work now so shoot me a PM if you roll through again. I am always up for a trip to Everharts to shoot the breeze with people from the site. That's if I am not already at the store. Hang out there way to much. A lot of people think I work there and will come get me to show them where stuff is at if they can't find something.

I'm confused, It seems from what I read from the beginning of this thread that the issue is that this site has changed so much, but I don't know why the problem would be with you?? I don't get it. Was this deleted thread you all have mentioned the one a few months ago about the catch and release and the tournaments and people PM-ing you? If not, I have no clue what that was about.
Jared, you seem to be one of the more helpful members we have on here because you live so close to the lake and you have allot of advice for many people, making you an easy target for those who want to take up an issue.
I don't get people who have problems with a forum like this, it's free, full of some of the best advice a crappie fisherman could find.
I have an idea!, if anyone comes to your address to take you on, tell them JUST before they lose consciousness, "Hey fool! at the top of the page there is a place to click 'LOGOUT' try it some time". Kinda like people who listen to a radio show they don't like gotta get on the phone and bitch piss and moan then still listen instead of just changing the channel.
You keep being you, that's why all us others like you and what you do for all of us.
