Cool stuff. I have my grandfather's old 1950's Elgin 7.5 hp motor that he used on Stockton for many many years........ we caught some pretty repectable crappie in front of that motor back when I was a kid, so I'm glad that I was able to keep it after he passed. They were cleanin out the old homestead after my grandmother was moved to a nursing home, my dad called me and asked if I wanted the old motor (no one else wanted it so they were going to put it up for sale in an estate sale), took me about 2 seconds to say heck yea I want it. I hope to get it running one of these days and maybe even take it out and use it again....... it ran fine the last times that he took it fishing, I think it just needs a little TLC and it'll run like a champ again.
