When you said afraid of heights, I thought you meant this video.
Climbing A 1,768 Foot Transmission Tower

'that is absolutely one of my favorite drives, it is incredible scenery, and when there isnt snow you can pull off on those roadside areas, and the chipmunks will come up wanting to be handfed. Another beautiful drive the the drive thru the Thompson Canyon on the way to estes park. Incredible country.
smile, people always wonder what you are up to
Nice drive.......those guys climbing the tower in the other video are frickin crazy!!!!!

where is that located?
Thanks for sharing. Run the Rockies a bit from Denver west, the drive over Hwy 50 from Pueblo to Montrose is one of my favorite. Like it even though heights make me edgy, I don't even like being this tall.![]()
We lived in Denver for many years before moving back to MO in late 2005, so I've driven those types of roads a bunch of times. Honestly, I never could get used to it........ fear of heights I guess. The pucker factor is extremely high when you are above treeline, no guardrail, and driving 2 feet from a drop down the side of a mountain....... I'm talking white-knuckles and cold sweats. Don't bother some folks, but I didn't like it. The scenery is indescribable though. We have spent many a day at RM Nat Park, beautiful place.
