    Default Conceal & carry class

Just read where a guy from our great state of Missouri shot and killed himself during a C&C class. I for one feel a lot safer knowing that people have to take the class. Doh

Sorry for his family, but that's gonna make Spike tv's 1000 ways to die.

The bad part of the whole deal was that the instructor was teaching things in the begineers class that should only be taught in an advanced class with someone who has handled hand guns alot. According to Missouri state standards what the instructor was teaching wasn't even needed for a CCW permit. I have had the training on how to load and unload a hand gun with my weak hand. But it was in a very advanced hand gun training class mostly taught to law enforcement.

Saw that too. That's sad for the family members.
Beagles right, Strong hand / weak hand loaded/unloaded always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

what a shame i had'nt heard that, so sad....that's the very first thing my dad taught me when i was a youngster, i sometime's will asked someone what is the first rule wen handling a gun. they say "check to make sure it's not loaded" i say nope try again... not that that's not something you don't do, just alway's have in mind that it could be wen it's first placed in your hand's or posession, until properly checked
why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!
