Thread: Warning: Smith's Restaurant, Springfield, MO

This has to be the funniest thread I have read in a long time. Might I suggest Lexapro, it helps with the impatientence and short temper. Just kiding, I don't like poor service at restaurants either. I haven't been to the new Smiths yet, but after all the banter I must find out how good or bad it really is. Gee thanks.

Gotta agree about the shift time.Being in the business,2-4 is typically a slow time..few working and the ones that are working are cleaning up from the lunch rush or preparing for the dinner shift.Its possible that the hostess sat you at a closed section by mistake,since people kept looking at you.That might have been wondering why you were sitting there.

That being said,there is no excuse to sit there without being acknowledged.They dropped the ball for sure.

Grumpy, might I suggest movies, a shirt, a mug and some reading material. :D

Wife and I had been in there several times before, took her dad a few times and even her uncle. Granted a time or two the service lacked the quaility of Bolivar or Collins but I put it off to having a new place with new people.
