It's about the only thing I miss from down there. Well, that, family, and the fishing.

I assume you are saying that tongue in cheek! Alabama is a GREAT state! It has a lot going for it - nice folks, great scenery, outstanding fishing. What more could you ask for? I am an AU fan because I went to school there but I am not a huge football fan. That being said, the state has a lot more going for it than football. Wait a sec, I get it .....

Alabama is a horrendous place - stay away! Whatever you do, don't go to Alabama. The place is a pit. Especially, stay off the lakes and don't go near the Gulf! The fishing stinks and the state is ugly as hell. If you want to go someplace in the South, go to Texas or Florida - but keep away from Alabama

Now you're getting it. And they say an AUBURN education ain't good fer nothin. You left off the rivers. They are muddy, shallow, polluted and none of them hold any decent crappie. Especially the ALABAMA RIVER. The results of this past Crappie Masters Tourney showed just how bad the crappie fishing can be down there. I bet they never go back for another tourney.

    Can I get an AMEN???

AMEN! I am really glad that I left. Every night, I thank my wife for taking a job in Kansas and getting out of that hell hole called Alabama!
