I have started a business tying jigs. Rainy Day Jigs. I have got in over my head already I think with the tying. Ned Rutledge alone has been keeping me swamped. But I have been fooling around with painting also. I am close to perfecting a painted and cured weedless jig head for you guys who like weedless jigs. Been tuff going but just about have it. But I have been painting regular jigs and ponyheads or roadrunner style which ever you call them. I am now ready to start selling them now for local pick up only. Shipping cost is crazy when a flat rate box is $5. But I guess in bulk I could sell them if someone does not mind the cost of shipping. Here is a picture of the road runner heads in Orange and a new color that has been good for me called Ruby Slipper it has a lot of shine or glitter to it. I have about any color you would want and if I don't I can get it. I have several sizes and styles of jigs on hand and can get about anything you would want. If it is an odd ball it may be a two week turn around so I can get the jigs ordered. I got White, Black, Orange, Orange glow, Hot Pink, Blaze Red, Ruby Slipper, Blue, Purple, Yellow Chartruse, Green Chartruse, Green, Brown and may have others I can't think of right now and have some more of the new glow colors coming also. They are the rage right now. I also can paint single and two colored eyes on them if wanted. Just shoot me a PM if interested with what you think you would want and I will get a price for you. I will try and paint up one of several styles and one of each color I have and post it later.

May all your live wells be full.Dave
Not sure if the willow is any better or not but I have been using them for a while now. I also have a jig I tie and use a willow blade on it also. I can paint these jigs with the round or willow leaf style blades. I am looking for a new supplier of the jigs to get prices down but for now looks like 40 cents a piece. $10 for a 25 pack. $40 a 100. They are betweeen 66 and 75 cents a piece at other places I have seen. Cabela's has them for $9.99 a 15 pack. Another place has them in a 18 pack for $11.99.
