    After a boat gets so old it will have switches that get moisture in them that will some time short out and cause the power to be put it where it don't belong!!!! I've had livewell pumps turn on by theirself. If I'm storing a boat for very long than I take the power cable off the batteries for my own peice of mind. But than, my boats are older than most boats!

    This is the cheapest rebuild out there,Browner 573-632-4494 in Jefferson city he done ours for $25.00 and its been as good as new since.

    Default i think im fixed

    after taking it apatrt found that a magnet inside motor had came loose. cleaned eveything up, epoxyed it back in place and works like new. as for the trim switch, i think it was the one on the cowling. unplugged it and seems to be doing ok, ill replace it later.
