    Thumbs up Goin' Fru Fru

A little Sunny SoCal in the MidWest....

Took some fresh crappie fillets and followed this recipe for Baja Fish Tacos but used tortillas for soft tacos instead of hard shells.

Gotta say, they were pretty dang good! The two kids that like 'em deep fried didn't care for the fish tacos, but my wife and oldest son (who don't eat more than a bite to see if they still don't like it) said they could eat fish like this all the time. My youngest son doesn't like either kind so....still working on him!

    Keep em fishin, Joe.
I like a good taco as much as anybody.....but.....fish tacos just doesn't sound good to me. I would never do such a thing to a good bunch of crappie fillets.

I've never tried them, but printed off the recipe anyway. Somehow I just can't imagine regular taco seasoning on fish
A little lime and cilantro makes most anything edible though. Especially after 1 or 4 Margaritas:D

Oh, I agree! But if I'm trying to get all those healthy benefits of eating fish, soaking them in grease and drinking a few pints of beer doesn't help. I wish it did, cuz they're hands-down the best that way.
