    Default RV TV Antenna's

Went up to the local RV store today. Had to pickup a few items for the old RV. Since I didn't have the wife with me I decided to look around a little and see what was new in the store.

Well most RV's come with some sort of crank up TV antenna's. Ours has a power booster already on it. Well I was looking and found a 10" addition to our Winegard brand antenna. According to the box and information its supposed to increase the performance of my current UHF antenna 100%. Yeah Right! Ok so I have been burned before and so I decided to chance it for $25.00. Well got home with it, saw the neighbor outside down the street. He is the local retired RV nut. Decided I would take it down and try to one up him. Wrong he has had one now for most of the summer. He says it really helps his antenna up on Truman. He says it's the best $25.00 he has ever spent.

Ok so now I figure I will install it. I have to say it only took me 5 minutes from the time I found a ladder to the time I got done. I will let you know later how well it works way out in the sticks. I have one place that I go to that I can only get 1 or 2 TV channels.

Ham Radio, the original wireless communications

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak!

LOL oh you know me well! I think I got out of there for about $60.00. I figure thats cheap for me. I will say one thing, John over there at the store on North Glenstore has always taken great care of me. If anyone needs RV parts go over to Thomas & Sons. They stand behind the stuff. And when you go over there they will make sure you get everything you need to fix your problem. They sure beat Camping World with their customer service.

Neighbor says it really helped his antenna up on Truman.

Yep bet it was some kids. Big fireworks Expo starting tomorrow here in Springfield and Rogersville. Got to be over there looking at new products.
