    Be careful Michael. Take a look at NADA for the boat and motor. If the motor is a a 1989, then the guy is asking about 3 times what nada and the bank says it's worth. I would say if you have 6K to spend, you could probably do better, but I could be wrong.

    yes duncan I been doing some checking, and he is high,still pondering it over and still absorbing all the info, will give it more time takes me awhile to absorbe,thick headed and all

    boat problem took care of its self, he called and said didn't want to sell, so now I don't have to worry about it, thanks for the help ya'll it is apreciated. and now the waters are safe again

    Sounds like a good boat!!! I repaired fiberglass boats for several years and Ranger is the best built boat in my opinion, but I would look at the transom for bowing and fractures around the motor mount holes. I have replaced a few Ranger transom boards in the past, other than that I would look for the normal condition of the boat.

    no problem bigby, yea he called said he changed his mind, no problem I about got the old tracker ready to go. so when my hand gets to where I can cast or reel I will be fine with my little dink boat. later man

    when you look at a used boat one thing you really need to check is the motor compression the boat may seam to run fine but one cyllinder may be 10lbs off. if that is the case you may down the road, loose your powerhead Larger outboards don.t putt around they scream wide open its whole life
