    Lowrance is coming out with a new down imaging unit early in 2011

    I can't afford one of the fancy side imaging units, but this is the next best thing and looks like the price is going to be $600 to $650. that's still a lot for a locator, but the gps and map capability makes it a neat unit.

    Still no word on the Humminbird that was DOA from service, so it's back in for the second time.

    I like it because it don't have very many buttons on it! That means it should be simple to operate.
