Sprint has good coverage because they have roaming agreements with Verizon. So with Sprint you get the same coverage as with Verizon. There are no roaming fees with Sprint and they have the best plans if you are getting anything more than just voice service. Mobile to mobile calls are free anytime too. I have lots of friends that work for Sprint so I try to help keep them employed. Their customer service has improved by leaps and bounds as well. I had AT&T for my work cell and all I can say is, "more bars in more places my a**". Tons of dropped calls in KC area, especially around Smithville on AT&T.

When at camp both "OTD" And I both had verizon. Both phones were new. I think he had an LG. I have a phone like dmw1960. "OTD"could not get reception. I could get great reception everywhere.

+1 for BadAxed comments. I had brand new phone. Palm Pre Plus to use as hook up with INTERNET(laptop) so I could log into workstation in office. NO SERVICE fringe area. I believe it has to do with the antenna for a particular phone. Still like the smart phone & features--Trade off I guess

OTD, it sounds like Randy is braggin' to me! :D Just kidding. I have an LG myself but nothing "SMART" about that phone! Thanks for the info, though. Good to know!

Was at Truman last Saturday fishin' with Beagle and had no signal with Alltel/Verizon. 'Course I only have the cheapie "free" Samsung phone that came with the signup. When we pulled out, Beagle's phone acquired a signal sooner, and much stronger than mine, so obviously the phone it's self has a good deal to do with it.
