There are not many bodies of water south of Minneapolis other than the Mississippi River. I will be more than happy to point you in the right direction for Mississippi river action. Right now conditions are not good due to heavy rains. There is a site called lake link Fishing Reports: Mississippi River Pool 9 - Genoa that gives current conditons and access to excellent guides if you prefer one. (Dicko1= Dick Neffe is the best walleye guide on this part of the river. I would love to give back the hospitality I was shown buy all the great Mo boys from crappie.com. Once the water starts stabalizing and going down some the fishing should pick back up again. I was getting into 12 inch crappie before all this rain came. PM me and I will let you know when the action starts back up. P.S. I was into 5lb plus walleyes everyday while crappie fishing last fall
