Irritating jet ski justice.

Couldn't believe all the people that wanted to play on really high Missouri river last weekend. They all were using the boat ramp we went to that is on a feeder creek. Tried to fish but they didn't want to bite. They are tired of high water too. Got back to boat ramp just in time to watch a guy with 2 jet skis trying to launch. First he was backing the trailer down the ramp and doing fine but he would go a couple of feet and then pull up. back some then pull up. He did this all the way down the ramp. He looked like he was trying to keep it exactly in the middle. Well he still has the the jet skis tied down. Gets to water edge stops and gets out to undo the things. Takes forever to do that. His friend comes down and trys to help. They get them untied and stuff loaded in the storage on them. He gets in and doesn't start the truck up to finish backing into the water. He just lets it roll. so he has no steering control. The trailer goes sort of sideways and has 1 tire against the curb of the ramp. He gets out and they try shoving them off. Gets one shoved off and friend gets on that 1 and is just floating around with it. They guy shoves the other 1 off and then gets a rope out, ties it to the jet ski. Pulls it over to the side and ties it up. Gets back in truck and pulls up the ramp. I look over and he has tied the jet ski to POISON IVY.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D I am thinking well maybe there is justice after all. Meanwhile there was 3 boats waiting to take out while all this was going on.

It sure is interesting to watch people at the ramp:D You can ALMOST overlook the annoyance factor they cause by the entertainment the give. I'm not the most adept person at launching but I make sure I don't tie up the ramp access for others.

I'll bet right about now someone is wondering why on earth they are itching so badly

Granted I hate waiting at the ramp just as much as anyone but there is always a good show to watch! Especially on holiday weekends!

maybe someone should open up a service of putting in and taking out at the ramps , at 10 bucks a pop a guy could make a good living at smithville on weekends

that would take all the fun out! I think someone aught to be on the ramp directing traffic with aircraft controller lights. Like a cute woman in a thong!!! maybe another walking around selling beer and peanuts.

You should patent thaose ideas. Charge admission to bored townies at any ramp in the united states.


I KNOW that I've put on some good shows. I'd have paid to see them if it weren't me:D
