    Default Having Fun

Afew weeks ago I was reading the pros and cons of lime lines. Well two weeks ago my brother in law and I tried it for the first time. We placed ten lines on the Osage arm around the 28 to 30 mm. The first line had a 25lb flathead! From Tues am till Fri am we caught #80lbs of catfish. Guys it was a blast and we gave all the fish to locals who were very happy to have them. I gona have to learn how to clean them and try them flatheads! I removed all my lines and didnt leave any lines in the tree limbs. I your in that area and see lines with yellow tags, their mine and I AM RUNNING THEM. The people who leave them and untag are lazy . That lake has enough problems without us adding to it. I just dont want you guys to think Im one of those guys who doest care about our lake!! THANKS AND GOOD FISHING

a lot of of catmen round here put their larger fish in a big stocktank with clean wellwater for a few days, claim is first you take the fish from the river, the you take the river out of fish. I dont go to this trouble, but I am very pickey about cutting out ALL red meat and cartilage. It dont matter how you skin the cat, long as you clean out the red stuff then soak em in saltwater before you freeze em. I also only keep fish under 20#, Ive ate some large cats up to 80# and they were excelent, but i'd rather turn the big ones back for another day. I'LL take crappies or walleye over cats anyday

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
