Thanks again to all the fine folks from Mo who made Crappie camp so special. A question? Where is the best place to stay in the Clinton area. I plan on coming back again but will not stay at the "Tebo Creek Lodge bar and Grill" again. The owner of that place, "Fernando" is not reputable and runs a vermin infested place. I would not recomend his establishment to anyone. In fact I would recommend avoiding his establishment entirely.

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
I've stayed in the Bucksaw cabins. They were nice with dated furnishings. I want to try the rooms on the water sometime. They also have a motel style facility or lodge like OSS said. I don't know if your looking for a place to stay for fishing or work?
We stayed at Bucksaw Motel and it was nice. Nothing fancy but it was DRY and it was clean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Badaxed years ago I used to stay in the old Holiday Inn at the jct of Hwy 7 & Hwy 13. I don't know who owns it now but it used to be really nice and they had room service with great food.
You won't have any complaints with Bucksaw. Nothing fancy, but clean and good service!
Crappie.......its whats for dinner!!
I stayed at the Bucksaw Lodge and it is clean and the people are nice.
for the advice. I have been trying some of the techniques i have learned from you fine folks at Crappie univeristy (crappie camp) Although I am just a freshman, I hope to graduate with honors some day. Of course that will mean I will have to attend classes (come back to crappie camp). The professors (all the fine folk that are cdc members) can whip up a mean fish fry as well as hand out great info. I have been spider rigging and catching some nice female black crappie (thanks Jarod for the lesson on fishing the breaks for the big females). I hope to pass on all the great info and hospitality to other crappie fishermen in my area (if I can find some HA HA). Thanks again to all you great mo cdc guys.

I agree with you on Tebo Creek, I'd rather stay in my truck than do that place again. From my experience Bucksaw is most convienant, all 3 around the corner of 7 and 13 are good and Cozy Corner RV Park by Sparrow Foot also has cabins for rent and the owners are very nice.
