is it as simple as just putting the jackstand on a bathroom scale?
Its a small boat, just guess 700# fully loaded(probably closer to 500),but I'm pulling it with a 4 cylinder PT Cruiser..rated to tow up to 1,000# and a tongue weight of 10%.
Congrats on the new to you boat Cook.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Sounds like you are just about on the lake! Congrats on the boat.
I feel sorry for the smithville fish when the cookiemonster makes her maiden voyage........go get em buddy.

Getting the hitch installed next week-hope to be out on the weekend.
Man,that was a lot of work getting all the paperwork done..Had a truck I sold with good tags still, traded those in,then get all new titles and registration for boat,motor,trailer...Crap,I was there almost an hour....cost me 82$ and change.Didn't even mention the trolling motor..that might come back to haunt me?!
Weird
motor reg. is a one time deal
trailer good for 2 years
boat for 3 years
Be nice if it was just a package deal.
You're safe on the trolling motor, Missouri quite titling them approx 10 years ago. Renewed my trailer plates this year and the lady hands me a new plate across the counter. Says I "can't we just do a new sticker showing the renewal year"? Nope, whole new plate. Certainly glad to hear that our state budget is in better shape than I thought.
Cook is going to get to spots hes never been on before.Catfish and crappie beware. Go Cook
May all your live wells be full.Dave
Yep,just an ole beater boat, cuz thats how I plan on using it,hit some of those spots others are afraid of..I can swim![]()
I miss understood the post, I thought cn had the most tongue weight my mistake.
