Plenty of towns to go through that slow you down a little but is nice if you run into trouble along the way. Have a great trip and be safe. I have been there and there is not much around. See if the little diner is still there. Should be straight across the road from the fireworks store.
I used to run 65 out of Iowa down to Preston hauling Bulls but that has been years ago. They told me that the little diner is still open. And the truck stop next to the fireworks store also has some sort of deli. LOL dont worry old DW won't go hungry! I think I got enough meat, steaks, hamburger, pork tenderloin, soup and junk food to keep me happy for a couple of weeks. And I have a gas grill, electric grill and a gas stove. One of the guys out of Buffalo is already up there. Its his store, I am going to go help him then move to another location. Hopefully my own store, maybe Eageville.

What I have to is get up there and get some product sorted out so that they can bring a crew up out of Buffalo and make assortments.

Oh and don't worry about me running out of steaks before camp. I know I promised you a steak dinner on Wednesday night, I will be resupplied before camp! LOL dang good, that last calf dad fed out for us! I am telling you brother those steaks grill good!!! We grilled up some Ribeyes down in Lake Charles, LA. One of the guys working with me down there couldn't believe that I was cutting a grilled ribeye with just a plastic fork! He wanted his grave yard dead, I like mine alive with plenty pink showing.

Cool thanks! I heard that from Lineville it was a trip to do laundry and finding a walmart. I have enough clothes that I only have to do laundry once every 2 two weeks. The guy who ran Lineville last year is the same guy who is going to run it this year. He said the total population of Lineville is 39 including the town drunk who is also the town bully.

I bet that was one of the best shifts on duty you ever had.

You and him should get along well. :D
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

I am kind of thinking you're so very correct Chris! Just about like oil and water! I think you, Hales and me are all on the same wave link.:D Aint taken no beer or Jack with me on this trip! But I have plenty of stock here saved for camp! I will have to make a special drink for you at camp! I call it a Hickory County Coke!:D Goes down great but its kind of like a Long Island Tea its hard to walk afterward! A third can of Coke and 2/3 of Uncle Jack!:D

Time is going to be short up North and I have got to Git R Done! They want me to have everything ready for a crew within less than 2 weeks!:D

I have to becareful making them for some people. I am an Auctioneer and a few years ago I helped a buddy out on a Auction down around Branson. Well he had this partner who was also a Auctioneer. Well this guy is a Real Estate Agent in Branson and a real drug store cowboy! It was one of the hotest days of summer down there. And this guys brags he has done it all and seen it all! After the auction I mixed up a Hickory County Coke for my buddy, me and drug store cowboy! Well everyone knows what Jack Daniels will do to you in the heat if you ain't used to Uncle Jack. I drank my down, my buddy drank his down and old drug store requested another one! Just bragging how he could hold his booze. Well I fixed him another one. We ended up having to call his wife and having her come and get him. We both had to load him in her car because he couldn't even walk! LOL my buddy and I just looked at him and told him he was a real green pea! Boy was his wife mad! She got him home and then couldn't get him out of the car. He was supposed to take her out to dinner that night for her birthday and he couldn't do it. Something about him not being able to get far from the bathroom after he got into the house. My buddy told me it ended up costing old drug store alot of money to get out of the dog house with his old lady.

Leaving in the morning before day light heading north. I will try to check in a couple of times per week if I have cell service.

You guys try to keep, OSS, Frosty and Crappie Novice in line until I get back to earth.

They have told me that the population of the town I am going to is 39. Oh WOW!
