Hey Jack I was up at Grants in Bolivar a couple of weeks ago asking about the release date on those 2011 Super Duty. Any word yet when they will hit the lots?
I have not heard one word about the release date yet. As soon as I do I'll give you a shout

This will be my/our first camp, after reading your great story I can't wait. My son is like me and absolutely loves to fish, so he is excited as well. My wife has NEVER caught a fish, in fact, has NEVER FISHED before if you can believe that. She wants to start, I know we will have fun teaching her.

Nice read, Dan. That is just the way these fine folks are. I'm looking forward to seeing you, Marcus, and the Mrs at camp. Won't be long now.

How old is your son? I drug my (then) 12 and 9 yr old son and daughter, and my wife (who does fish) 4.5 hours out to Bucksaw for our first Crappie Camp last spring, rolled in 30 min before those storms, set up in a flash, and set to meeting everybody huddled together under what little shelter there was. (Dad, that guy has had a few too many! Yes Honey, thats Bugs). Couldn't have been a more welcoming bunch that weekend, and the fall camp was just as good. Always a good family atmosphere, in spite of the Biker Gang. Just make sure you keep your son away from Beagle, or he's liable to end up getting a lesson in training farm animals, and keep a good distance from OSS or you'll go home shoppin' for a Ford (although all his fishing tips MIGHT be worth gettin' behind the wheel of one of those things). Pretty sure anybody at camp would give you a handfull of their favorite jigs, or tow you the length of the lake if you need it.

See y'all there... can't wait to sit around the fire with some friends and make some new ones while we're there.

He is 15. Him and I have fished out of Bucksaw several times so we are somewhat familiar with the area. We are certainly not expert crappie guys but we do usually manage to catch a few.

There's a better chance my son will be saying "Dad, YOU'VE had a few too many!!!" HA! I'm partial to Glenlivet single malt scotch when sitting around the campfire; I plan on breakin the seal on a new bottle at camp for any others that may imbibe good scotch. Good to know everyone won't be sittin around sippin iced tea and bottled water all weekend!

LOL! He reads most of the posts with me so he probably knows them as well as I do; we can't wait to meet everyone in person. We laugh a lot at a bunch of the posts, good folks for sure. As for the Ford, too late, I'll be pullin in in an F150 so he won't have to "sell" me too hard on what truck to drive!

YOU sir, will fit in fine. Bring that Glenlivet and we'll compare it with my Woodford Reserve while your 15yr old and my 13yr old (Nick) compare fishing stories.
