I am still using the Sunbeam electric 110v that I bought for the wife about 20 years ago. Seems like the ones made for the kitchen are really a more sturdy, long lived knife. I have to sharpen the blades every now and then but other than that it just keeps on keepin on. bob

    Default Rapalla vs Amercian Angler

I have a corded Rapalla, a rechargable Rapalla and a corded American Angler.

Both of the Rapalla units run too slow in my opinion. The blade speed just does not keep up compared to the American Angler unit.

Not that I ever have any fish to clean.:D
Progressive Marine Insurance SUCKS!. If you hit a submerged object they will try to prove manufacturers defect....stay away from them.
