    Default House shopping

My wife and I have spent the last couple of weeks house shopping in the North KC and Liberty area .
We have some interested buyers in our home for sale in Tn. and have started to look more seriously at homes in the area .
I'm renting an apartment now and it sucks ! I can't stand listening to the people upstairs making noise throughout the night . I have never lived in an apartment and never want to rent one again .

I think it makes a difference in the quality of the apartment that you rent. I have lived in apartments before and really never heard the people either below me or above me.

But I have visited some apartments that you could hear everything even the next door neighbors talking in normal voice.

These are nice apartments ,but a little dated . Apartment living is just not for us . We are used to living in a bigger house .

    I'd lean toward Liberty.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)

Be careful in Liberty. Nice but high taxes and if you end up in Liberty school district but a KC address tack on another 1% to the good ol earnings tax. Good luck. It’s a great time to buy.

We found a home we liked in the Liberty area and are going to write a contract on it today .
We considered the taxes and this is more reasonable than many of the homes and areas we looked at . We have a very good realtor that has helped us out a great deal in a search for the perfect home for us.
