    More on AU recruiting:

Somebody said recruiting is important, so today we'll recognize the folks Rivals recognized for being good at it.

Rivals lists Auburn assistant coaches Curtis Luper and Trooper Taylor among its Top 25 recruiters for the 2010 signing class. You can't argue with that, considering Auburn finished No. 4 in the recruiting team standings. We found at the standings at AuburnSports.com.

Rivals says Luper landed two five-star prospects for the Tigers in junior college QB Cameron Newton and RB prospect Michael Dyer from Arkansas. Rivals gave him an assist for wide receiver Trovon Reed and offensive lineman Ed Christian; and got much love for the Tiger Prowl limo tour and the Big Cat Weekend.

Rivals says Trooper got offensive line prospect Shon Coleman and was part of the recruitment of Reed. He also helped on defensive end Corey Lemonier, wide receiver Antonio Goodwin, defensive back Demetruce McNeal, receiver Shaun Kitchen, defensive end Joel Bonomolo and receiver Jeremy Richardson.

There were not alone, for sure. Assistant Tommy Thigpen is considered a top-notch recruiter, and certainly the line coaches - Tracy Rocker and Jeff Grimes - got high marks from the players they recruited. Gus Malzahn sure sells his offense. We're guessing everybody did a good job.

Anyway, Rivals says Tosh Lupoi of California is the nation's No. 1 recruiter this year. Some more familiar names: Rodney Garner, Georgia; Will Muschamp, Texas; Sal Sunseri, Alabama; Lance Thompson, Tennessee; and Ed Orgeron, this week, Southern Cal.

From a BIG FAT PLODDING fan of the Big Ten& WI Badgers(11), a question.

How does one put a .jpg in the signature section. After seeing bwillaub's Auburn .jpg, I wanted to put the Badger motion W logo there. If I was in SEC country, I would probably know how, but Nooo, I'm from way up Nort in WI.

Thanks in advance for your help & any digs that I may get are OK too!!!

    Click on User CP
Click on Edit Signature ==> Then when you're in Edit, there's the option of adding pictures to the signature. Depending on where you have the picture saved....... you'll have to decide which option to select. Then there's the option to preview the signature and save the signature.

    Hope this helps.
