Won't know about how it works in MO till after april 22nd. Badaxed & I will be there for Crappie Camp & about 7-8 days of fishing. Are you going to Crappie Camp?

If not, I will post or PM you after I get a solid feeling for how it will work.

Yep I will be at camp! I will be at A-39 and the load of ice I am bringing will be at A-38.

OnTimeDelivery be sure and ask when you get something if it works on Windows 7 please.

I am finding alot of stuff won't work with Windows 7. I had Vista before I got this new computer about 3 weeks ago. Even Verizon says on their own website that they are working on getting stuff to work with Windows 7.

I am using XP. Lat year we updated our server and workstations & I wouldn't let our IT guy go with Vist. Same with my laptop. It will be a while before we move to "7". I'm an old guy & if it isn't broken, I don't want to fix it. Good luck with "7". Only a matter of time till apps. get caught, up to include Verizon--Sure will look you up at Crappie Camp & thanks!

I didn't have any problems with XP myself. And with Vista I had a few problems but so far knock on wood Windows 7 has been great. I know with having HP laptops like I have had I am not having near the issues with Windows 7 as before. None of my other laptops were upgraded just the program that came on them. Usually after a couple of years something will go wrong with them so I just replace them and get the current program on them. I like this laptop because it is the largest screen I have ever had. (16.9) inch.

I like to wait till an operating system "get it's bugs out" before an upgrade, but certainly understand the Microsoft forces us to use what is loaded on a new computer. I've heard good things about "7" though.

Take care snd see ya in abut 90 days.

What I don't like about 7 is if you are used to XP and Vista its fine but if your not used to them good luck. I think Microsoft could do a little more in showing new users how to use the system. Other than that I think Microsoft has fixed all the problems that I used to have with XP and Vista. I personally kind of liked Vista.

    Sounds great.
