Congrats on the move. I'll tell you what, Smithville can be very fun in the winter. Shady lake cove is my favorite winter hole, just find the bait balls and follow them. You'll catch plenty of good crappie. Put in at the W. ramp, take a right under the bridge, and it's the second cove on the left. There's almost always sever boats in there.
Thanks for the info . I might have to get the boat out soon and check it out. It's taking me a while to settle in here in KC . I start work Monday at the GM Fairfax plant .
