Something funny from the VA off topic board.
I could have saved a $40 copay and a ride to Shawnee KS if I had had this information sooner! I have BaitMonkeyitis! :D

I dozed off on the way home....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...from Suffolk Utilities yesterday afternoon. When I woke up I was sitting in the parking lot at PBS on Power Plant. I must be coming down with something.
I have a very bad feeling I'm relapsing with Speckled Fever again. I consulted with Dr. Benjamin Franklin and his associates, and it was decided that since I would be unable to get theraputic treatment at the Lake clinic, that I should pick up some paliative care medicinal supplies....
2 11' poles with cheapy spincast reels (replacing with my light spinning reels)
1 dozen packs of 1.5" plastics in asst color/patterns.
1 Jar of hot pink Crappie nibbles
1 set of throw markers.
2 boxes of 10# mono (will use existing 4# for leader rigging)
I'm feeling better, but it's not a cure..... hope I can make it until Sunday morning.

Don't let those clinic quacks lead you astray .... that's not "Speckled Fever" at all What you got there, is a serious case of "BaitMonkeyitis" (apparently you've been bit by the Bait Monkey) ... it's a condition that spawns from Speckled Fever. Speckled Fever is curable, but only temporarily, since relapses generally tend to occur within a short timeframe. BaitMonkeyitis, on the other hand, is not curable ... but, neither is it terminal. It's just a nagging condition, that never completely goes away, and eats a hole in your wallet.
The two conditions are related, and tend to exacerbate each other. But don't dispair ... I've had both of these conditions for over 50yrs, and I've survived with most of my faculties intact.
