Thread: Robbed My Bees Today...........

bob since when does brian drink lmao i dunno if beer would help or not. cause if you did get stung you would prob bleed to death lol

My husband is allergic.......deathly allergic to honeybees. He's a logger by trade and when I used to skid logs for him, I'd occassionally be coming back up the trail on the log skidder and meet him running at full speed heading the other direction. I'd go back to find out what was going on and he had cut down a tree with a hollow limb full of honey bees that were now quite angry. I'd have to go rescue his chain saw which was still idling as he just dropped it and ran.

The first time this happened I was walking down a path he was opening up with the skidder (he had headed out about ten minutes before me) and I looked up ahead and he was running full bore at me. As he ran past, he shouted "RUN!". I had no idea why I was running but I took off for the truck. He cleared a four barbed wire fence without touching it. I got stuck half way over with the barbs sticking into my jeans. I quickly figured out why he was running because the bees caught ME at the fence. I had bees everywhere and only got stung about five times. Of course he kept running since he is allergic and I was left straddling the fence trying to get the barbs out without ripping my jeans. It didn't take too long with the bees motivating me. It's all funny now...........:D It should have been a Kodak moment.
