Speck We Are On The North Side Of Springfield. And It Is Getting Ruff Everywhere Down Here! Not Enough Cops, And When They Do Get Someone Arrested They Don't Do Anything With Them! If You Are Stupid Enough To Leave Your Car Or Pickup Unlocked In Your Driveway Someone Will Go Thru It At Night.

Father Inlaw Who Is In His 70's Left His Pickup Unlocked One Night They Went Thru His Glove Box And Pulled Everything Out. The Inlaws Live About 3/4 Mile From Us. And They Have A Cop Living Right Across The Street From Them. One Of Their Older Neighbors Had Her Car Stolen A Week Or So Ago Right Out Of The Driveway. And That Happened Only About 4 Or 5 Houses Down The Street.

Shepard Might Be Bought By A Steak, But Owner Won't Be! And Owner Has Loaded 9 Mm S&w On Him All The Time. Plus I Have Cameras Up And On 24-7 With A Sign That Says We Don't Call 911!

I would do that, Mike, but.....................it's a little more than mowing and trimming. Will post a pic when and "if" I ever finish.

I hear ya. I live just north of Burfordville. The other night..... well nothing happened but the night before that..... not much went on then either. Actually, I have retired old widow women on each side of my property who watch everything that goes on around the house. I know exactly what time the mail man ran, UPS, Fed Ex, trash pickup, anyone that might of pulled into the driveway just to turn around, ect. In return, they call me to do home repairs, auto repairs, snow removal, snake removal, or anything else. They both have keys to my house which is seldom locked anyway. Its a pretty good trade off for cheap surveilance.:p not to mention coming home to fresh baked goodies on my kitchen counter every once in a while. I guess we all got a rough neighborhood in one way or the other.

I have PVC to Orbit sprinklers in the yard.
I purchased the quick connect garden hose connectors and screwed them into the PVC Head. Just quick connect and turn the water on.

I used to use one of the cheap turn timers, but they last about one season.

KIND OF LIKE MOM AND DAD'S NEIGHBORS AT PRESTON. THEY FIND ALOT OF THINGS ON THEIR FRONT PORCH!

I HAVE GOOD NEIGHBORS ALL AROUND BUT MOST ARE WIDOW WOMEN WHO ARE AFRAID AND THEY ALWAYS THANK THE WIFE AND I FOR CHECKING ON THINGS AT NIGHT.
