Is it an inline 6? if so try this pull the distributor cap and look at it to see if there is moisture on the inside, if so look for spider web looking marks. If so you may be able to use some WD 40 on it but I would recommend replacing it. I had this problem several times with my jeeps and when it got bad you would not get any voltage at the plug wires.
