Hello everyone my name is Shawn I work in the organ and tissue transplant industry and have been in the army reserves for 14 years. I love to fish and hunt. Fished Florida for years and since moving to mo I love crappie fishing. I picked up my first boat last year 19 fr ranger cayman 2003 with 200 Yamaha v max, love the boat. I fish smithville mostly but go to Florida and Minnesota for guys trips. Married with two boys who fish with me occasionally. I have a lot to learn about winter and summer pattern. Looking forward to meeting some of you on the water.

Welcome Shawn....organ and tissue transplants ought to be a good field to be in....more and better all the time. Thanks for your service in the reserves. Hope to meet up with you up on Smithville some day.
Hello every one, my name is Mike, I live Rolla, MO, where I work for the USGS. I am 32 years old and married for 10. I don't necessarily know if I have one particular lake that I like to fish more than another, as I enjoy traveling to and fishing on new waters. I fish as often as time and weather allows, usually 2-4 weekends a month and several evenings, and anywhere in MO as well as surrounding states, southern states, and northern states. The two lakes that I do frequent most are LOZ, and Rend, IL. I prefer crappie fishing, but also like to chase catfish(pole and line, and trotlines), bass, redfish, Trout, and even bluegill, each depending on the season. I lean more towards crappie mostly because they are easy available to be caught year round, that and crappie are my wife's favorite fish to go after and eat, which makes it much easier to get more fishing trips in:). As with most crappie fisherman that I know, I catch and release some......but prefer to catch and eat!
I have fished from a 1999 Lowe 180 with a 75johnson for a while, good ole crappie fishin boat, but just ordered a new hp18PFC xpress with a 115 yammy which will be in May 9th.
