Eric here, grew up in STL moved to Blue Springs, MO when I was 15. Huge Cards fan, and spent most years as a kid fishing the Meramec River, Lake St. Louis, Truman and Mark Twain with my dad. I'm only 27 so I have MANY years of learning ahead of me. Joined the site to learn more about what I can do to get better, and what things to look for at certain lakes in the area. My father-in-law has a place we call three fingers, it's just north of Clinton, MO and I find myself down there almost every weekend. It's an old corps of engineers 30 acre strip pit from the 60's that was sold to the family after being filled back in with water and stocked.
I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you fellas and maybe droppin a line in with you.

Newbie 2
OK guess I am a newbie--here. Been fishing Truman since they put the cork in the dam. Live in Blue Springs, recently married a Russian lady 7/25/09 so my fishing has taken a big hit this year. Trying to figure out if this is a good thing or not??? Time will tell but for now I am not adjusting well to domestic responsibility. Fished this lake (Truman) for every species and finally decided Crappie was the fish of choice. Winter fishing is my choice but hate to miss the spawn.

im josh, married with a 5 yr old, bootheel missouri, been checking the site off an on for a few years, thought maybe i'd signed before but nothing i could think of worked! so i am new newbie, fish as many tournaments as i can, out of a '03 lowe 180 crappie stinger, family cabin at reelfoot, fish mississippi and kentucky some, duck pit in the bootheel, farms in knox county, northeast mo for the deer and turkey! i rig up boats for crappie fishing in my spare time, and most of my time is spare! looking forward to fishing truman for the first time this year, heard great things about the lake. love this site and looking forward to meeting everyone! and if i can find a camera im entering that contest!!!
