hey all. joined the site about a month ago nd thot i should make the most of it join in. name is mike. from bolivar i work const. have a wife n 2 barefoot kids with one on the way. 2 birddogs and a boat. used 2 fish at pome alot but past few years been going 2 stockton mostly high point area and the dam area when the big boats arnt out.

Hi, I'm Ed Alt from KCMO (KC North area). I've been lurking here on cc for awhile, figure it's time to speak up and meet some fellow fishermen. My cc handle was a nickname a neighbor kid called me when I was growing up in NW Indiana. Worked on a farm in SW Iowa for awhile, then moved to Missouri. I'm married to a wonderful outdoorsy lady (Sandi) who has been on all sorts of adventures with me. I have a 22 yr old daughter who's graduated from Park U and is working. I've been an occasional fisherman all my life. As a teen fishing with a friend out of a canoe in Iowa, we caught a mess of bluegill and crappie, filleted them all, and had fish for supper and breakfast the next morning. Last year I took a canoe out on Smithville with a trolling motor from the W ramps, and managed to catch a few fish and not get swamped. I learned alot just reading the Missouri forum and following what other people were using. I'm 50 yrs young now, and just picked up a 14' Lowe jon boat with a 10 HP Honda motor and trailer, along with a Humminbird 581i finder/gps. Hoping to learn more and to get to know some of the fine folks who's posts I've been reading for awhile now. And as always, just to get outdoors and enjoy ...

whats up guys, my name is derrick and im from warrensburg. i just started really getting into crappie fishing last year...it sure is addicting. im about to turn 24 and i am in the air force reserves, currently working full time out there. i most always fish truman...usually right around berry bend. started reading the forum a few months ago and figured i might as well join up...and maybe learn from some of you.
